Memory Info


I have two Linux servers running on my LAN, 1 Ubuntu, 2 Debian
The Ubunut has 2Gig Ram, the Debian 512 Mb.

On both I can run:

cat /proc/meminfo | grep MemTotal

the ubuntu returns
2048344 kB (2 Gig)

The Debian returns
512528 kB (512 Mb)

I hope this command may be of use to you.
