Changing Sender Address in Postfix-

Hi,

I would like to use Postfix as a mail client to send email in my CentOS 5.9. I configured 'main.cf' with the help of online-

The SMTP server is set up to relay only valid sender email address. I am trying to change sender address but everytime when I test to send an email, Email is sending with the default email address, i.e., root@FQDN.of.my.CentOS.Machine. I tried to change the default sender address as, antnish@mydomain.com-

Help!!

After making changes acc. to the link you provide, I get error like-
[root@antnish ~]# postmap /etc/postfix/generic
postmap: warning: /etc/postfix/generic, line 241: expected format: key whitespace value

Still email is sending with the default address.
