changing sawfish theme

My friend told me I should expect this since I'm using gnome 2.2 on the unstable release of Debian, but I know there's got to be a way around it. The theme changing utility for sawfish 1.2 crashes when I open it. Well, not crash, but it just opens a blank window that I have to kill. Previously, if I logged out and then back in again, it would let me change the theme.

Anyway, I want to know if there's a sawfish console command to change the theme. I tried "sawfish --visual=<theme>" but that didn't work at all.

Thanks,
Andrew

I think that you have to upgrade to sawfish2.
