Change setting for allow_url_fopen to off

Hi.

I'm a total newbie and I'm afraid this is a very basic question.

Ive got a linux server and I want to change the setting for allow_url_fopen to off. I have got to the php.ini file where I understand the setting is located ..... but I don't know how to actually change it!

Could anybody help please?

Thanks very much.

Jonty

This should do;
Code:
allow_url_fopen = Off
