can't open links


im using SimplyMepis 3.3. i like it, works real good but has a couple of flaws. i just got online and clicked on a link in an email and it wouldnt open. i went to a couple of websites and had the same problem. how can this be fixed?

what program are you using as a web browser? You might want to try mozilla or firefox. I'm not sure what is the Mepis default browser, but it sounds like it is what's causing the problem. You will need to configure your system correctly to open links in the chosen browser.
