[SOLVED] cannot install guest addition on ubuntu 12.04

I just upgraded from ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 and I am unable to install guest additions.

Interesting thing is I can still take my "mouse" out and in I can also see shared folders but unable to get the "FUL Screen" what should I do I am confused.

I tried to did "Install guest additions from Virtual Box" but I am not getting any notification in Operating system....

I am also trying to see if I can mount cd-rom but it is patience is testing me there also.
Please assist.

sudo apt-get remove virtualbox-*

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-*

Let us see how far I go..

Performed remove and install operations and it is working now !
