I am a serious noob and I was wondering if I could install a bittorrent client when using a live cd? Also wondering if I could install files directly to my hd or anywhere else?
Yes, with Knoppix you can "install" things on the
fly, it depends on what you're installing and where
to. If you for instance save your home on a USB
stick you can even make those installations persistent.
