Wink Solved - Can't open home dir from Places menu error regarding writing to DVD

When I click on Places then home, I get the following error message:
The file '/home/kvandergriff' is not a valid disc image.
The directory path mentioned above is valid and I can navigate to this directory but not through the Places menu.

I am running Fedora 9, and using gnome 2.22.3
This started happening after I spent an evening burning some files to a DVD

After continuing to read .. I found the answer to this question, here at LQ.org....I had to change the open with property for that directory.
