Can't get linux to display contents of external HD

I need to access the contents of an external HD (WD My Passport) which I was using to back everything up before I wiped out Windows and installed Fedora 19. Linux appears to be recognizing the HD in some fashion; when I plug it into a USB port, I get a window that says "WD Unlocker" with icons for autorun.inf, Extras, Locale, and WD Drive Unlocker.exe. However, I can't pull up the saved contents in the drive by clicking on any of these things. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to somehow access the drive through Terminal?

The passport contains a virtual CD in addition to the data drive. The window that popped with the unlocker.exe, autorun.inf etc was the contents of the virtual CD.

As stated look for another mounted partition. The virtual CD could be mounted at /media/WD SmartWare and the data drive mounted at /media/My Passport. In addition if the ntfs-3g driver is not installed the data drive will not be mounted.

Do you remember what format the drive has? the file browser should create a clickable entry for your hard drive
