Can't get Flask to connect from localhost

Hi there,

I am trying to learn how to build a webapp in Python using Flask, I have looked at various tutorials, and they are all the same, yet, I get unable to connect from any browser on a Raspberry Pi. What am I doing wrong please.

Ok, I installed it for python2 not python3, works with python2 fine.

Ok after a reboot it's not working again.

If I run the app from the command line, it tells me:

Code:

* Running on http://127.0.0.1:5000/
* Restarting with stat

Why won't it show up in the browser?

Ok,I think I'm just being a little green here, it seems that so long as the app is running, then it will show up in the browser, Looks like I have to go back to the very basics of how a webserver actually works.
