Call to Inusertemp failed (Temporary directories full?)

Hi,
i have mandriva linux on my system, it was running well yesterday. I am getting Error like : " Call to Inusertemp failed (Temporary directories full?) Check your installation ".

I have flushed all the temp files in /tmp, /usr/tmp and /var/tmp.
But couldn't solve the problem.
I would appreciate if anybody could help me solving the issue.

Hi, welcome to LQ!

There's potential issue with what you did to resolve the issue;
if some of the files in any of the temp locations were still being
written to deleting them didn't free up the space but only removed
the visual representation ... to resolve the issue the quickest
solution is a reboot; alternatively you could use lsof to see
whether any files that you deleted are still being written to,
and then kill the process that did the writing (the space may not
show up still, however).
