Hi

I just installed mandrake 9.2 it was fine I got it set up mail, internet ect ect all working well so....... I decided I would update ya know download all the bug fixes and security updates so I did this it took 2 hours and wham!

My system died!

I could not use the GUI at all no menu nothing!

I then had to reisnatall and the keyboard did not get installed.
So now I have reinstalled for the 3rd time tonight.

Can some one please tell me why the bug fixes stuffed me system?

Is it common to have these silly prob with linux?
