Hi, you need to edit the grub menu...

open /boot/grub/menu.lst, look for an entry called "default" - possibly it says "default=0", edit that to make the preferred entry default...
Entries are grouped lines, the first group has number 0, the next 1 ect...find the lump of lines you want as default to find out what to put in the "default=" line

Luck

Thor
