Blew off Display

I screwed my monitor setting eventually blowing off my display in FC2. Can anyone please help me to get back the display.

Once the FC2 boots I get the login screen through command line but it stays there for a few seconds and then goes off and I have a blank screen. This keeps on repeating.

Thanks

What do you mean by "blowing off" the display?

I sounds like X is trying to start but cannot due to some error. See if you can get a command line using ctrl-alt-F1 (or F2). If not, reboot into single-user mode**

Once you get a command-line, you can look at the xorg logs to see what is happening.

All of this might be the spirits telling you it is time to upgrade---Fedora is now up to version 10.

**single-user mode:
Reboot
When the grub menu appears, hit any key to stop the countdown, select the option to boot, and hit"e" for edit. Select the kernel line, hit "e" again, and add the word "single" (no quotes) at the end of the line. hit return, and then b, and you will boot up in a single-user terminal session, running as root.
