Being prompted for root password when I try to sudo mount -a

I want to be able to manually mount the filesystems.
Sometime they are unmounted (why I don't know).

But when I run sudo mount -a I am prompted for the root password even though I can sudo -i and become root without a password.

Thank you.

It was a line that was not properly configured in the /etc/fstab file

Good work for A) finding the solution, and B) being thorough enough to post the solution here. You'll never know who you've helped!

Some commands themselves check and verify the user is root (independently of sudo).
Some configs within the /etc/sudoers file allow a user to execute certain commands without a password, and other commands still require a password.
