Base install and building step by step.

I would like to do a minimal install and add packages 1 at a time. This way I will be able to learn the process. I have installed slackware 9.0 and have been using it for a couple months.
I would like to to a minimal install of Slackware 9.1: (what exactly would this all include?)
get internet set up and download and add latest versions of software, such as:
gcc, kde, mysql, php, apache, ssh, mozilla.
Has anyone done this or is there a better path that you could recommend?

If you install everything in slackware will be more good...because you will have everything installed on machine and you can use the applications...and to know every one package for what is recommended and how it works...
In Slackware 9.1 full install is 2GB...its very good to have everything ;]~ not to install something when you need it... OK?
