backup software


hi guys....

i hav tried bacula and amanda both....but dey both are not working...
in amanda the dailyset file is empty.......

plss....suggest some good installation guide for amanda........
or pllss help me........

http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Quick_start is what I have frequently followed. But you will need to browse through some other things in the wiki as you work through that. Keep that in one window and follow it. Then browse through other things to answer specific questions you have while you are working on it. There are troubleshooting guides for the most common problems people run into. The main page of the wiki has links to get there http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Main_Page.
