BackTrack Suspend Problem

Hi. This is my first question.

I have BT5R3 installed on my netbook (Acer Aspire One 722). The problem is, BT won't resume every time it suspends.

Any help appreciated. And sorry for my poor English

HI:

Welcome to Linux Questions!

You could try this thread:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=813975

http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...ad.php?t=27937

If that doesn't work try going into "Power Management" and see what is checked.
It may be as simple as un-checking the suspend option.

Hope that helps.

The cause of this is; most likely because 'suspend' is enabled.

Could be this 'Bug'which is a graphics driver issue.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ls/+bug/999638

To report the bug-
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend

If fglrx and radeon are loading on bootlike this man in this solved thread it could explain the reason why your Acer is not resuming after suspend--

Looking in the suspend log may reveal any problems.

I looked in the Backtrack Forum and I didn't find any SOLVED thread for your issue; Sorry--
