I have an aver tv card saa7134 and I need to change it to the correct card number, but I get FATAL: saa7134 already in use. I have tried a few methods online but none of them have worked.
What version of Linux are you using, what command are you using to change the TV card to the correct card number, and why was the card number "incorrect" in the first place?
I use this to change my device name for my nic card, under "Change device name". It just might help guild you to be able to name your device whatever the software is looking for, using the same methodology.
