kernel place in SusE


everytime i type hsfconfig to configure my internal modem on suse 8.0

it ask for the palce of kerneland it say it alwayes located under /usr/linux/kernel


but when i press enter it alwayes says missing file --> autoconf.h


where is the kernel files located and where is that files also

can anyone help me


when i search for the name of file i usually don't find it at all

Should be /usr/src/linux

i found the solution

it is that i didn't install the kernel source


i did install it now and everything is allright
and i am writing this reply from SuSe 8.0 now
