Question applications on toolbar is empty on ubuntu ?


Well i deleted wine ,and aparently got rid of everything in applications ,i went into home folder and found menus and nothing empty!how do i get the programs back in to the menus to run !
i had to reinstall gnome-terminal and only way it comes up is run application thru alt f2 !
also tried edit menus dosent even show up becouse nothing there i guess!
any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ubuntu 9.04
uninstalled wine becouse nothing worked and got some bad uninstall advice
which happens from time to time !already been thru google and other sites and really no advice found that would help!

(solved)did this= home folder/iconf/menus/ rename menus and new file will be created on reboot worked like a charm have everthing back that was deleted thanks to all !
