Question Apache Uninstall

Hi,

I am new to Linux. I have installed redhat 8.0. I did downloaded tar ball and installed Apache 2.0.44. But i have installed with the default installation. My intend is to use my layout to install in a diffrent filesystem other than /usr/local/. My objective here is to uninstall apache. I did my home work. make uninstall didn't work on this. I don't want to use rm -rf to remove the /usr/local/apache2 folder. What is the alternate method to uninstall apache.

Thanks

If the install put everything under /usr/local/apache2, then "rm -rf" in an acceptable solution.
