Angstrom Boot Question
I am working with angstrom on a tablet and I have a few noob questions.
I am using a basic build off the online builder and have it booting from a memory card, but I am using the uimage (kernel I guess) from a uberoid build and all seems to work well.
The only problem I am having is that the kernel has boot splash enabled (which is fine) and I am using a serial terminal to do my login and run programs, but when I run things like QT that use the LCD screen, it still shows the progress bar.
I don't know where in the boot sequence this service is started or how to stop it so that I can run other programs without it.
And if I knew how it worked / was used, I could load my own splashes.
So any help on this would be great.
One other question was with my serial terminal. When it is ready to login, is shows the angstrom text art right before the login prompt.
Where is this text logo defined?
I figured it was in the kernel when I used angrstrom on another board, but now I am using it with a non angstrom kernel and it is still showing up...
I guess I am a little confused on the angrstom boot sequence and such.
Any help would be appreciated.
