also


can some one help me with a link/explantion of directories?for my own good i can see i need to learn more about directories.obviously,it is a trial of sorts,for information and such.but i am lost when i am asked any kind of question about a directory.thanks again,i am off to read my linux troubleshooting bible

Try this site for basic linux info:

Or perhaps you are after a description of the uses for each of the main directories (eg /bin, /etc)

can you work on you thread names a bit more.

a thread named "also" is unlikely to be beneficial to anyone else that has the same problem.

Maybe naming the thread "explanation of directories" would be better.
