Unhappy Alsa Troubles

im trying to use alsa to run my extigy sound card.

i have an integrated card and alsa has files for both cards. but when i run alsaconf it only picks up on the integrated.

how can i get alsa to see my usb card and configure it?

you may need to disable the integrated sound from the BIOS......
