Allow Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Only and Deny the rest

Hie peeps,

l am scratching my head here, is there a way l can allow Facebook, Twitter and Instagram only and blocking the rest via squid/iptables ? l know l need to understand how these applications work and whether l can block these using source and destination IPs...l know the limitation of using iptables to block targets using URLs...Any ideas ?

all of them are https so squid will not help you. what is rest you want to block? iptables will help you allow network ranges of facebook and whatever you want and if you mean rest all other traffic, yes you can block rest traffic except that ranges.
