Smile About Mailscanner and IPTables

Friends ,

I have the Following two questions :

1)What is the difference between ClamAV and Mailscanner . and their activities ?

2) When i run IPTABLES in My Linux Enterprise Edition then it auto executes & run . But i want to know is IPTables is a package or RPM ?

Mailscanner doesn't have antivirus functionality as such,
and ClamAV knows nothing about e-Mail as such.

iptables is a program in its own right, whether your
distributor has made it into a solo package or not
we can't tell if you don't tell us which distro you're
using. Try 'rpm -qa|grep -i iptables'.

Cheers,
Tink

rpm -qa iptables would work too you know.

rpm files are packages.

For the sake of semantics and knowing what's what : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iptables
