A good best low end distro for P3,128MB ram Laptop
Hello All
I've posted this thread before when my old p3 laptop had some critical problems ...I cant find that thread so i'm posting it again bcoz now its working .

A good best (low-end)LINUX Distro for my HP omnibook which is
>p3 working at 800MHZ
>128MB ram
>20GB HDD
The apps I use specifically and primarily on it is
>Packet Tracer 5.1 for my cert exams
>pass4sure exam dumps has to run so WINE has to b running.
>Web-browsing.. a good web browser (not firefox which is mem consumimg)
to watch online vids
>play music and vids
>Some small downloads etc etc ......
Yeah may be OP was referring to the thread that you mentioned.
There was mention of Austrumi Linux. Something I would like to recommend.
I did not find a distro that is so small and still so much to offer.
Just read on Distrowatch that some NetSecL kinda distro is out that is based on Slac and uses Xfce. Not too bad time to try it out, isn't it?
