5.1 sound card on front speaker !!!

hi everybody, a newbie here, just started using mint as from yesterday so im still in the air about this program,,,,,,so far im liking it but for one thing, and thats that i have a sound blaster z series and only receiving front channels, i have included alsamixer that is showing all the appropriate channels but as said on the front two are playing, all help is gratefully received many thanks beforehand.

If you have pavucontrol installed....the pulseaudio GUI mixer level thingee....
search for pulseaudio volume control in either your menu or
in the "run box" when you press the Ctrl key and F2

then go to the config box and select the appropriate surround sound setting.

I suggest you upload it to ingur.com or some other site and link to it. Your first post has no attachment that I can see.
