Add item to menu with KDE 3.2.2

First off ... I am using FC2 ..

I want to add a link in the KDE menu to the application XMMS ... so I right click the K and add it and everything. Only problem is, even though it saves, it wont appear .... I have done it a million times with no success. How can I add this item manually?

Another quick question ... can you have the konqueror file browser remember its screen posistion so it doesnt always start in the top left hand corner.

Thanks
Matt

Not sure about the first question as I use FluxBox

2nd question: Change the features that you want and then in the Settings menu select Save View Profile.

If you look in /var/lib/menu/kde/Applications you'll see all the current items in the menu - if you look at one of the existing programs you'll see how to setup the new shortcut

As for screen position, i'm not 100% sure but i don't think there's a way - I could very well be proven wrong tho

Hope this all helps...

right click on the window top/title bar, choose advanced, store window settings.

This is in kde 3.2.3 but others are similar.
