[India] Reliance Netconnect Calling And SMS Software On Linux

I have recently purchased Reliance Netconnect CDMA 1x Modem for Internet connectivity on my laptop. The Modem is "ZTE CDMA Data Modem MG880+", It comes with drivers for windows and Linux but the service provider (Reliance) provides a windows based software for making calls and sending messages (SMS).

I have configured the modem for Internet connectivity, that was painless
Is there any software for making calls and sending messages through this modem or any other alternative?
