Some websites are not loading using Firefox. The same websites are loading fine under Tor browser. This is the error I am getting (Please see attachment)

Is there a way to fix this ?

Looks like Firefox is protecting you from bad/wrong ssl/https pages. There is probably a setting to turn that off if you want to. But, something is wrong with that page or Firefox would not have said so. Or, are you going through a proxy, the web site is checking for that by looking at the request header and denying you because they don't want proxy users reading their page. Or do you need to configure Firefox to use your proxy.

I wonder if there is a proxy or something interfering with the connection. What distro are you running and are there any particular networking configuration changes you've made that could be relevant?

I don't think this is a SSL/TLS or security issue - Firefox should explicitly say that if it's the case.

Using Lubuntu 20.04 (fully updated). Firefox was already installed. No proxy of any kind.

Again, the same page is loading fine in Tor browser bundle.

Is it just this particular site that's being blocked? It could be that your ISP (for some reason) is choosing to block specific domains.

I am facing this issue with only porn sites. Read this

But when I try to open a blocked porn site I get a clear cut message that it is blocked & not the message that I have attached.

Ah so this is more a networking issue. The "clear cut" and not clear cut message might actually be both sites being intentionally blocked, but using different techniques by different ISPs. I would imagine this is why Tor gets around the filtering.

Try Google.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1280856 The first of many hits for the exact error message.
