*** glibc detected *** /usr/sbin/apache2: corrupted double-linked list: XXXXXXX

Hi,

I am running a PHP application using Apache2 in a ubuntu machine. I have memcache enabled. Recently I have started experiencing severe latency issues in my site and all that I could find in the error_log is this error,

*** glibc detected *** /usr/sbin/apache2: corrupted double-linked list: xxxxxxxx

I did noticed some intrusion like requests to files that is not available in my server. I am not sure about what is the actual cause of this. Whether it is higher memcache usage or else anything happened because of these intrusions.

It is getting a lot bad every day. Please help me providing an insight for this..
