Unhappy X-server

anyone an idea how i can configure my linux server to service other clients witch connect to the server by typing:

X -query 11.11.11.11 :2

always i trie this i don`t get a desktop!

what to do?

Hi..


Edit the /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config file and comment the following line


! DisplayManager.requestPort: 0

Note: Comment is ! not #



edit /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess file and add a * to connect all the hosts



Restart ur X server . or just run xdm


Now from ur remote client u can try now

Exclamation what now ?
i have done all you want but it does not work!
i seems that i just need to say which desktop i want (maybe in a config file)!?!?!?!
