I get some similar errors when booting by wireless LAN. In my case they do not seem to be fatal because (usually) it comes up OK. For both PCs that I have got wireless connectivity working it has taken quite a bit of configuration and/or kernel module installation. I used the following HOWTOs for guidance:

http://www.linuxhomenetworking.com/w...ess_Networking

and

http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_...ess.html#howto

also for my Distribution (Slackware) the Slackware Book at http:///www.slackbook.org/
