Did you back up before the update, so you can roll back to a functioning network controller? What Distribution are you using?

Have you fully rebooted?

It shows that you are connected to VIRGIN165.

Please open a terminal and enter
Code:
ping archive.org
ping 1.1.1.1
while connected.
And show us the output.
Please use CODE tags as explained in my signature.

These steps helped me in the past.
1. Backup with Clonezilla.
2.Open Synaptic and enter in search box "wireless" keyword. At first reinstall "wireless-regdb" package. If it's not help try reinstall also "netbase", "wireless-tools", "iw", "crda", "firmware-iwlwifi", "firmware-linux-free", "systemd", "systemd-sysv". If you use DHCP reinstall also isc-dhcp-client. You can use installation disc for that.
3. Run "apt update, apt upgrade, apt full-upgrade".
