Windows Network error message

When i click the Windows Network icon - this message pops up:

Internal Error
Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org
Unknown error condition in stat: Network is unreachable

What do I need to do to see my Windows Network shares..? They were there before - but for some reason not anymore..

If it was there, then something must have happened in the meantime...

Yes - I was editing the resolv.conf file in order to try and see my LINUX PC share on my WIN XP network..
So I changed the one of the 2 nameservers from 195.218.0.9 to 192.168.0.1 to see if that worked out..
But after this and a restart of the LINUX PC the Workgroup in Windows network (LINUX PC ) were gone and the error message popped up..
Then I changed the nameserver back to 195.268.0.9 in the resolv.conf file - rebooted - but then the same error message popped up again..
