winbind in samba wont adduser
Hi,
I'm trying to get my Mandrake 8.2 to authenticate against a win2000 domain controller. I'm doing this using winbind and samba.
I've edited smb.conf, nsswitch.conf and /etc/pam.d/login, started winbind and smb.
The problem is when i telnet to the linux-box and try to login using domain+username, I do get authenticated, but when a new account (homedirectory etc) is created, I get a "permision denied" and get thrown out. As far as I know the winbind deamon runs as root, so I'm kinda stuck here. And when I use a /etc/pam.d/login file with winbind only for "auth", then it works fine, but then I don't get homedir, bash etc for new users. Any ideas?
I'm pretty much a newbie to Linux and haven't quite gotten how the pam.d works... I've attached my login file that I've tried with no success.
Thanks for all help!
