Why open it over 100 times?

Hey there guys, I hope I am posting this under the correct topic.I recently installed a netflowanalyser(bandwidth monitor). After I made the .bin file executable I ran the installation in a terminal in the GUI. After I ran the installation it kept on opening new installations for the netflow. Just out of interest, is this a very common problem in Linus (RH) or is it just my installation, cause this has happened before? Just wondering. In advance thanks for your response.

What is the analyser? Is it from a package or a download?
What distro are you using it in?

It is a program that I downloaded for one of my companies servers. But it hasn't just done it with this one program? It as called a "netflow analyser".I'm using Red Hat.
