What do you make of this?...

Hi,

Remember I posted a message asking for help about a web server I was trying to set up at home?

I finally got NAT working, and got my web server running, It was a small site with only 2 pics, Well after 10 seconds I got a landslide of traffic, the wan traffic indicator in the router was on all the time and the hard drive was going wild, I checked on the performance indicator it was going from 10 to 25 %, I was a little scared as I had never seen this kind of behavior before, at least not in my own house.\

Is this normal, what do you make of this?

I have a AMD 350 MHz with only 128 Megs of ram I am still running Windows 2000, but now that I got NAT working I am changing to Red Hat 8.

Is it Windows 2000.?, Do you think Linux would had perform better?

It's strange. You should find out what makes such traffic. An utility like iptraf will be useful.
