i can't get anonymous access to work on my fedora core 3 system.
i can get in the folder "pub" but that's all. while all the rights are still the same.

here is a part of the vsftpd.conf file

dirlist_enable=YES

# allows downloading
download_enable=YES

# no anonymous password
no_anon_password=yes

# disallow passive
pasv_enable=no

# allow write (in permitted directory's
write_enable=YES

is there anything missing here, or misspelled?

one line is missing in ur vsftpd.conf

write it abv

anonymous_enable=YES


i am sure yue problem will be solved

let me now if still problem persists

the line was there just higher.

the problem was this:

the anonymous user his homedrive was @ a wrong location, that contained an empty /pub
so the problem was...... ME!

should have seen it. thnx for the post anyway.
