Smile VLSM , Dhcp


Dear Friends ,

I have three questions as stated below , plz give me answers :

1 ) Plz tell me what is the basic difference between "VLSM" and "CIDR" .

2) For DHCP SErver which service is need to first run .

And when i configure DHCP Server then I got an Error and that is
"/etc/init.d/dhcpd: line 17: [: =: unary operator expected" .
How i get rid of this problem .

3) For configuring webserver in Linux which software are to be used for this purpose .

Plz Help ..............

just make sure your network is up and running, you don't need some other service in order to start your DHCP server...

maybe post your dhcpd.conf so we can take a look...
