vlan


Hi
I want to config vlan using mac address.Can anybody help me how to do vlan setup.
I tried but it is not working.
I have 3 machines....and i want to do by configuring bridge and then vlan ...i also need to test vlan across layer-2..
can any suggest how to do.

i done first configured bridge and then i done vlan configuration but how i have to test whether vlan is working or not i didnt understand(layer-2 testing).
