Question using X-Win32 for graphical applications

Hi All,

I have to use XWin32 on windows systems to access a remote Linux server. I am able to configure the rsh and rexec connect methods to access and use the applications of linux. Both hte methods just give a command prompt access whereas I want its graphical interface using XDMCP connect method. When I configured it like other connect methods, It just opens a window...nothing else...no login. Can anybody help me in this regard?

I use (rarely) a program called MIX "http://www.microimages.com/freestuf/mix/" it's not free for windows but it's only $25 and the trial will prove if it fits your needs.

Then just connect via SSH and tunnel your X11 connections to the X server running on your windows box. Kinda cool, but you'll end up going back to your linux station because this only works well on a local networks or on very high speed connections unless running mini app's like xclock. LOL
