Two servers!


hi,

i have a network consisted of:

linux server 1 with 2 NIC running samba server
linux server 2 with 1 NIC running samba server

workstations running windows xp and has access to server 1 only

server 1 NIC 1 is connected to a hub that all the workstations connected to
server 1 NIC 2 is connected to server 2 NIC through direct ethernet cable.

my question is how to make those workstations accesing server 2 samba also
i mean what the network settings and addresses like ip MAC .... etc

not something i've done myself, but i believe it should be simpel using some basic natting:

Basically you would create a second interface (eth0:1 etc..) on the accessible side of the first server. any request to that ip address on that server get's routed back to the unreachabel box and back again.
