With Linux the practice of removing and re-installing software and hoping things will automagically work out of the box is not necessary. Instead (learn how to) use the software documentation to debug it, check the log files for clues and test, test, test.
You should be aware there may be reasons why Youtube and other websites are blocked, that your traffic may be subject to packet filtering and network surveillance and that circumventing access restrictions may have repercussions. That said you should first tell us how the traffic is blocked (showing obfuscated headers should do) and check if your DNS traffic is also tunnelled through TOR.

Since I am new to Linux and have a little knowledge about using terminal for now, like installing, removing packages etc. and a few other cammands, I don't have any idea about obfuscated headers. Is there any place I can study them? P.S. for the time being, can you please show me the way of how I can view 'em so as to post 'em here.
And I looked into the Network Settings > MyWiFi > Settings > IPv4 (my country allows only this) > DNS server.
Now since I use 127.0.0.1 : 9050 to connect to tor, do I have to input 127.0.0.1 as DNS server to tunnel the traffic through TOR

Rep:
tor handles dns, leave the cfg alone.
dont reinstall.
It worked fine just not there at youtube, this tells me your ip is block.
Try new identity(ip)...then try going to you tube.
If no go, grab a webproxy from google, tor through there and try.
I dont use youtube but tor did work fine when I watched a training video from there while using tor.
