timer software for linux


Hi all,

I would like to know about timer softwares for linux (Server-client architecture).The type that is commonly used in cybercafes to time users.It is very common for windows networks.

I would like to know of any for wholly linux networks. A timer software that will present a log in interface for users before being allowed to browse the internet.

This is the only one I've seen which says it supports Linux - http://www.hodoman.com/home

The website is terrible! (Firefox 2 on Suse 10.2 with kernel 2.6.18)
