SuSE 9.3 - Where is the "service" Command???

I'm using the "service" command in Redhat 9 in school for stuff like:
service network restart

In SuSE which I run at home, I notice the "service" command is not found? Is that because in SuSE I'm supposed to use the Services GUI tool in YAST ?

I've done that before and I know I can restart the network service there, but it didn't seem to run a smoothly (all of the dependant services to stop) and it didn't restart the PPP Deamon on restart...

Thanks!

Suse does not use the service command, thats only found in Redhat and derivatives. To start a service, you would do something like
Code:
#/etc/init.d nameOfService start/stop/restart/status
