Super FreeS/WAN and shared X.509 certs for RWs

Specifically on the IPCop FW Distro (so no easy upgrading to OpenSWAN...)

I'd dearly like all our remote workers (six, including myself on occasion) to use a single X.509 cert when VPNing through our IPCop FW, but in all the tests I have run so far, the first user to connect gets an SA, then the next user to connect kicks the first user off.

Is there a way to configure it for multiple connections from the one cert, or will I be forced to have separate certs for each RW?
