hi everybody!
I would like to ask if any of you could give me some information about settting up ssh client server service on a computer with windows xp prof. sp2.

I tried installing first openssh then cygwin but in both cases i was able to connect from this computer to linux machines but could not connect from the latter to this window server.
nor ssh, neither ping worked, except if done from the windows machine itself

I already set group and password and added the exeptioon for port 22 in the firewall properties; but it didn't work;

can anyone give me some help?

Are you looking for a client or a server?
I don't know many servers but as previously said putty is a damn good client.

I must have been misleading

unfortunately my problems are concentrated on the ssh server service

basically you want an ssh server for windows.
